News is circulating that the first Latin Mass since the introduction of the novus ordo in 1969 will occur at the Cathedral of the Savannah Georgia diocese. Mass for the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6, 2008, will be offered at 1 pm.
I had the good fortune to attend Mass at the Cathedral in October of 2004, and took some pictures. No significant alterations or destructions have happened to this Cathedral, thankfully, and it remains a stunningly tasteful and prayerful place for the Mass of Ages to be offered. Many thanks to his excellence Bishop J. Kevin Boland for this honor.
