Catholic Tradition: One Holy Catholic and Apostolic

CatholicTradition.net was originally going to be developed as an adjunct site to one of the largest Catholic Lists on YahooGroups — CTNGreg. The domain was purchased but remained unused the first year of the registration.  It lapsed, and was purchased and then remained “dormant” for a good period of time.

Now it is going to be put to good use as one of many internet hubs of solid, orthodox Christian belief. Plans include:

• Catholic practices and beliefs.
• Level-headed responses to controversies of our time, including:
  • Modernism and auto-destruction (as the late Pope Paul VI referred to it) of the Catholic Church before, during and after the Second Vatican Council.
  • Reviews and critiques of the principle religions and non-Catholic denominations professing Christian belief, including Judaism, Islam, Buddism, Mormonism, Evangelicanism, “Bible” Christianity, Scientology, and more.
  • Abortion, Euthanasia, the Death Penalty, and the Cultures of Death and Life.
  • Catholic Politicians and the betrayal of Catholic belief for their political beliefs.
• A sub-site dedicated to the teachings, prayers, and defense of a often unjustly scorned Pope of the 20th Century - the future Pope Saint Pius XII.
• Biographies of Saints and Popes, Feasts of the Church, etc.
• A Wikipedia-style Catholic Encyclopedia at CatholicTradition.net/Wikipedia.
